There is a company that does RAM upgrades like this. I read a posting either here or over at pdaphonehome where a user contacted that company and they are looking into it.

There are a few problems with doing this if it works correctly.

1. Your warranty is gone at that point
2. It will use more of your battery (might not be that bad)
3. Cost

I wish I could remember the post or the company, but I'm sure someone here read it and will post a link.

But let me share this...... about the ram leak. I did the rom update and i noticed it cured the leak. I use Xbutton software, that helps alot.. you just got to keep programs from staying in the memory by killing it with xbotton. But i still got curious and this is what i found out.
Here are a couple memory tips that might .....

I agree there should have been no doubt HTC should have but 125 mb or RAM in there. But the only time I have found myself in any danger of running out of memory is with using IE. For memory hog IE you need to check out Opra Mini browser. It is fast has a cool zoom feature and takes litterally only a miniscule of a fraction of memory when compared to IE viewing the same page. To get the scoop on it go here:

Memmaid can do a lot to free up mem and manage it.

Here is also a good thread on mem management over XDA:
