im running his 2.1 heavy metro rom, i have internet service on my account worked on my old phone, when i go to the connections part it doesn't have all the options in the advanced part as the old rom so i can't put all the stuff in that everyone was saying on the other threads, what do i need to put it on his rom to get it to work? What settings should be in EPST for the internet to work? I think i have it all right but would who knows


EDIT: just going through and double checking some settings i seen that i had put xxxxxxxxxx@mymetropcs.com when it needs to be .net according to the thead i just read, made all the changes there and now im getting a window in IE pop up saying something about my password isnt right for the web

New problem, I switched to his wm7 rom for metro, I was at a friends place where i never get a signal and i had a signal so i tried to make a call and i got a message from verizon, why is this? and still can't figure out the web

i have a question i am new to the site and am very interested in modding/customizing my phone. my question is this. i understand that i have to have metropcs add my esn to there database. should be easy as i already have an account with them and a pos phone that died. i just bought a mogul and was wondering if i have metro flash it, can i reflash it later and not loose connectivity.

They won't flash it for you, you have to do all of that yourself. You might be able to get them to add your ESN if your really lucky, i never even tried getting them to add my esn though

not true. I just today went to a corporate metro store and tried to get them to ad the esn, instead they told me they have to flash the phone to add the esn (total bull****, but the guy's not the most technically competent). so, lo and behold, they flashed it... it only took like 3 hours though

what metro corparate store did you got to and do all corparate stores flash moguls

I won't even try to go to a metro store, i hate talking to those people lol.


Internet is working now

MMS is acting funny though, i can send pics, but when i receive them it doesn't download the pic. Any ideas guys?

I switched to another one of ryan moguls metro roms though, the one i had used to much memory and could barely do anything with the phone, im running the v1.1 light now

Hi guys, I have a problem here. I've made all the changes and swapped my esn to the mogul but for some reason when I try to make a call Metropcs tells me my phone is not authorized for service at this time. Anybody else had this issue? Any suggestions. BTW I could never access nvm folder in QPST to make changes but used CDMA workshop to write. Is it something that I'm missing in addition to just writing it? Thanks in advance guys!
