Power button not waking phone up
 

Every once in a while after not using the phone for a few hours the power button won't wake the phone up and I have to take the battery out or soft reset. Any ideas what is causing this?

Try a hard reset, don't install anything. See if it still happens.

Then. one at a time, re-install whatever programs or hacks you were using. Each time checking to see if it happens again. If it happens again, then you'll know what caused it. :)

samething happened tome today for first time

I have noticed this can happen when the program memory gets low. Sometimes holding the power button down for a few seconds than waiting seems to work or other times I have to pull the battery.

It's happening to me without opening any programs... I just turn it on for an hour and it'll happen. Gonna call sprint and ask for a new one today I guess :(

My phone was doing the same thing. If I left it sitting for more than about 30 min it would lock up and I would have to perform a soft reset so that it would work again. I took it back to sprint, they said it was a problem with the phone and replaced mine. Since then I've had no problems. I would take it back if I were you.

They insisted that changing the keyboard backlight setting would fix it :?

Probably gonna have to take it back and make them exchange it later on today
