Yea...manning up works, but it sucked. Oh well. I'm in the process of reinstalling everything...I got activesync working...now I'm just praying the mystical cloud that now resides in my upper-left corner keeps growing because I do believe that it is the dry spot. Meh, we'll see what happens and I'll keep updating.

God hates me...phone froze up completely, soft reset and BAM right back to getting stuck at the Windows screen. I have no idea what to do, if it doesn't work I think I am screwed.
Either something is completely fried, or it just needs to continue drying, any guesses? |

You can try to dry it out but chances are its a gonner. You might try taking it in to a store since you have tep. Corrosion usually takes a while to become evident, as long as there is no corrosion and no water marks in the phone you just might get by without calling insurance.
Good Luck |

This being said Asurion is a pain to deal with. If you loose your phone they can require you to file a police report and fax it to them before they will do anything. If you get your phone wet you only have a certain amount of time to file a claim or they will deny your claim. If you deal with Asurion keep it simple just tell them that you dropped it water and now it doesn't work. |

The HTC does have water damage stickesr not only does the phone have it but also the battery. If you look at the battery it has a + and - sign well right under the - sign and a little the left there is a whole/ stricker.. if there is water damage it turns red.. and on the phone its in one of the corners.. it also turns red if there is water damage.....
How would I know? I dropped mine in the toilet |
