I think this is more of a flaw in windows mobile, and not the phones, because Even my 6700 will skip an alarm if suspended from time to time...

yeah... I just don't want to leave it on and plugged in every night for 8 hours..... I like to turn the screen to standby since it is unplugged or plugged in and on all day long.
Might have to start though.

May I suggest face wash? I honestly can't say this should be that big of a problem. If you're going to be on the phone for an hour, save your arm a little and invest $20 on a cheap blue tooth headset. I talk on mine quite a bit through the day but only for a max of 15 min, ave of 5 min. I see a little of what your talking about and can only assume that the longer you talk the more face to phone contact you get. But for me on a 5 minute conversation I don't think I even let the screen touch my cheek. Also look at the screen protector thread, some keep away that grime better then others. If you're using the one that came with it, I can say I noticed a little bit more build up with that one.
