This would be a good idea, If anyone could make this it would be helpful. Also does anyone know why I would be having issues getting the above program to work? It just doesnt make the light turn on. Any help would be awesome. |

Yes sorry, this is a manual install. No PC/exe or CAB install. Just drag the exe to some folder on the PDA. I create a Utils folder under "Program Files", \My Device\Program Files\Utils\ . Then I create a shortcut from the pLamp.exe file to \Windows\Start Menu\Programs\ . The pLamp utility then shows up in the normal "Today - Start - Programs" location. Hope this helps. |
Re: FLASHLIGHT APP 2.0 Nilisco and WoW (7/21)
this is the best program ever invented.

Re: FLASHLIGHT APP 2.0 Nilisco and WoW (7/21)
I don't know about messing with the LCD. LED's normally dont burn out and I would rather damage that than possibility of damaging my screen. Plus the LED is going to be way brighter than a white screen. I use Nilisco flash light and mapped my right soft button for it. You can also map it to any of the hard buttons. Easy on...easy off.

Thanks but that doesn't show the two buttons with the dot on them above the windows and ok buttons currently mapped to calendar and contacts.

Re: FLASHLIGHT APP 2.0 Nilisco and WoW (7/21)
Try the "add button" up top. I think Spb pocket plus will allow you to if the first option fails...

Re: FLASHLIGHT APP 2.0 Nilisco and WoW (7/21)
Hmmm I don't have the Add button function but AEPlus will let you assign buttons. http://ae.inc.ru/index.php.
Thanks I've now got two flashlites to play with. Tried nuelight too (sends morse code etc. can never have too much stuff to fool around with) ;-) |

Re: FLASHLIGHT APP 2.0 Nilisco and WoW (7/21)
The only flashlight program I have tested so far is nuelight. Which does work great.
I am wondering is there any flashlight program out there that disables the backlight on your screen when it illuminates the camera LED? If you are using your camera LED as a flashlight in a pitch black situation it would be better to have the screen off so there is no light shining back in your eyes from the phone's screen. Re: FLASHLIGHT APP 2.0 Nilisco and WoW (7/21)
vjcandella has an option to turn off the backlight.
