A text message in my outbox keeps sending and will not delete

I have a text message in my outbox that sends every time I dock, reset, lose and regain signal or go in or out of flight mode. I have tried to delete it and it will not disappear. I tried to move it to the trash and it stays in the outbox. I can not find it in explorer in Activesync to delete it there.

What do I do to get rid of it?

did you try a soft reset?

I took out the battery and also did soft reset. No change.

I had this happen before also. After a hard reset it was gone

I figured a hard reset would do it, but was trying to avoid that. Is it the only way?

I had same problem on touch, since i couldn't get it to delete i moved it into the Drafts folder (i believe) or just another folder than outbox. i then could delete it and it was never sent again. Took me a long time to figure out why my girl was getting the same text over and over, it was a hilarious text to be sending over and over though ;P

I kinda have a similar problem. My drafts always says (1) in blue, and when I click on it, it doesn't show anything. And on the bottom it says showing 0 out of 1 or something like that. It kinda gets annoying.

I had the same issue, and a hard reset was the only way out, and it has never done it again.

I had this same problem for a couple weeks. I usually deleted manually for some reason, but if you go into menu > clear "Text Messages" it deletes all your inbox and outbox. That fixed it without a hard reset.

Ditto, had this problem twice. First time I did a hard reset, second time I cleared my text messages. It works without having to erase everything you have.
