For what it's worth, I got a new MOgul on Thursday and replaced it today at a Sprint store (up on the Dpad wasn't working). It came with the new ROM, and I didn't even realize it till I saw this new thread. I didn't notice anything different per-se, but the Sprint music store IS working, although it used to say coming soon - I assume that means it's here now.:)

One thing to note - the home page on my device doesn't work. I get an error page when I first open IE (a 404 page on the Sprint website). Maybe that'll get fixed later too.

The Sprint store UI seems to be crap though. I can't seem to use the stylus to move between fields or scroll - like it's designed for a phone with a Dpad only.

My home page is fixed now. Maybe because I switched phone today and things in the system were switching around, but the home page works again.

According to SPB, Backup does not support "restores" after a ROM upgrade. So use at your own risk. They recommend only restoring from my Documents, and in some cases you can try to restore mail folders and PIM data. That sucks. So every ROM upgrade I have to reinstall every program from scratch? If HTC keeps pumping out new ROMs, then there's no point to even using a backup program versus activesync.

Is it possible to use or possibly rewrite the programs that came with the new rom update to unlock the spc code for the Titan 6800(http://www.america.htc.com/support/m...downloads.html).I know that they check and rewrite the spc somehow

What would need reinstalling?

I think I understand that I'd have to reinstall all of my programs, which is annoying enough, but what about "settings" sorts of things, like my contacts, my bookmarks, and so on? Will using ActiveSync to sync bookmarks, contacts, and the like fix this problem? I realize I'll probably still need to re-copy and re-set my custom ring tones for people, but not having to re-enter all the contact info would be a big help...

activesync backs up everything with the contact i believe.

i had pictures assigned to several contacts, and activesync backed those up, so i think it should back up custom ringtones as well.

AS does back up all outlook info (contacts, appointments, etc.) If you are looking for a way to back up your text messages or speed dials, check out this thread:

This rom has fixed the password-home bug that I was having. When having a password set on the phone, anytime I would unlock it, it would go to the home page, now it doesn't do that anymore with this update. Boot up time seems a lot faster with the same amount of programs installed. So far, I give it a thumbs up.
