Tether Mac OS X Leopard via Bluetooth to Sprint Mogul (WM 6.1) using USB Modem

I finally got this working and wrote up the steps here:
http://www.keithtastic.com/post/3997...-to-sprint-htc

I couldn't find these exact steps anywhere, and the PDF that came with the program had incomplete steps. Hope this helps someone!

I'm sorry, can you please elaborate further.. Your post was not very clear.

Are you saying that all you need to do is pair but do it from the phone and search for the mac? Then after it's paired you just need to click share internet?

You may be able to do what Linux does and use Synce drivers. But it may not work.

I would love to know the same thing but for the HTC Touch Pro. Any ideas?

Re: Tether Mac OS X Leopard via Bluetooth to Sprint Mogul (WM 6.1) using USB Modem

Sorry... but I did get ICS over BTPAN working'ish.
The weird thing is that I was getting like 50Kbps and the phone icons made it look like it was just sitting idle. Just signal bars and antenna icons... no data arrows even though iStatMenu said I was Rx/Tx.
That's ridiculously slow, anyway, when WMWifiRouter gets me 250-300+Kbps at the same location.

The problem is evidently the lack of modem scripts.
Not much luck here (Ross Barkman's Home Page ) cause it mostly focuses on GSM Handsets, but maybe someone with a better idea of what they are doing can get something out of it.

I just going to wait until more Diamond battery dll updates come out so I can use WMWifiRouter's 3G-->Wifi for more than 90 minutes (yes, even when its plugged in!)
