I have a felling it is some sort of internal profile that did not get switched back after using the Internet Sharping APP the previous day.

Hmm, that makes a ton of sense. I'm still going to hold out until this is completely confirmed as a fix just because I hate restoring everything on my phone, but that definately makes sense. Thanks a lot man, and hopefully this is it.

This just happend to me today to. I was freaking out, so I searched the threads a this worked perfectly. Thanks!

I was going crazy!

I was 2 hours and 34 minutes with sprint trying to solve the problem and nothis, I did close the internet sharing program and BUM! everything is back to normal.. no more error 67 or error 1012...

Thanks guys!

yep same problem as everyone else. Hard reset solved it so i'm not going to tether

Just got my wireless bill today for my first month's usage.
I can confirm that I wasn't charged for tethering use. I've used roughly 400mb of data (both tethered and on the phone) with ICS and a trial of USBModem. I initially tethered with USBModem, but switched to ICS with the MultiNAI registry edit to 0.

I'm a happy camper. :D

After doing this internet connection sharing via usb (activating it trough phone ) doesn't work anymore. Sad It worked when multi nai was on, but now it gives me error 67 terminated connection. Has anyone found a fix for sharing without being charged? I heard people say Sprint hasn't charged them at all? If yes please post. Thanks

*shrug*

I used my 6700 as a modem daily since I got it shortly after it was released. I still have it... it even has the old sprint logo on it :)

I just plugged my 6800 in, and bam.. instant internet connection. Didn't even have to use the dialer. Kirvin's AKU 3.5 worked the same way on my 6700.

I tired this and I don't really notice a difference in the connection speed as far as internet browsing goes. I don't use my PAM to teether at all. I'm checking my speed now...it was 500kb down last time I checked, I'll see if it's any different. Anyone else not really notice a difference in connection speed?

Guys,

I am able to connect but lose connection frequently. In order to get it to come back I have to click on a link on my 6800's internet explorer.

Does anyone know a way to fix this? it is really getting annoying. Thanks.

How are you exiting the internet sharing app? I don't see a way to exit it aside from killing it from the running programs list.

Anyhow, same problem as described. This solution isn't working for me :(

I've been without data for 2 days now, and I'm going crazy!
