Is there a way to use WM5?

I have a few programs that don't work very well with WM6. In adiidtion, I don't really see benefits WM6 over WM5. Is there a way to flash WM5 ROM in Mogul?

Its possible since the Telus version (P4000) runs WM5. However, you would have to get a custom ROM for the Mogul with WM5 to do it.

I think this is worth looking into and may help the low ram issue since wm6 takes more ram to run. I would be interested as well.

I suggest sending the Mogul to me and I will gladly trade you my far superior 6700 running WM5. If you ask nicely, I will even throw in a custom rom and some spinners.

colonel, you are always putting others needs before yours. You are truly a humanitarian.

I try. :D

Such a nice offer. Too bad I still have a PPC6700 with me.

doesn't wm5 have more glitches and issue over wm6, i know wm6 uses more memory but i heard it was worth it. I can understand in your case you need it for specific programs, but overall should we stick with wm6.

i have no problems with WM5 on mine, other than the problem of being unable to rip the rom...

Well at this point WM5 can be superior to WM6 due to the amount of tweaking that's possible. With the right tweaks you can make a extremely stable phone. After I flashed my 6700 with the no junk rom I rarely soft reset.
