Re: Disable dialing #777

Or create a new connection label it "Dummy" and use the diaing rules so it cannot connect.

While suggestions like these do work, My understanding is that the titan will still try to bring up a connection via the fake connection, or one with an invalid password, while with no connection, it will just try the LAN ports (Wifi, Bluetooth, Activesync, etc), and stop if none were successful. This has some minor advantages, although as my mini-guide showed, is a fair bit harder to implement. I prefer to have no connections listed myself, but other solutions are definately valid.

Re: Disable dialing #777

I use "NoData" to prevent #777.
I recommend that you install NoData (I believe it is in the Kitchen, or just use the .CAB)
Then toggle your data connection "off".
When you need a data connection, you can use NoData to toggle it back on

It is free and can be downloaded from http://www.modaco.com/content/pocket...tility-nodata/

If this helps, please click the "Thanks" button. I desperately need all the "Thanks" I can get (LOL).
