1. install slide2lock (actually, all you need is the ilock program)

Really?

read more than the first 2 words.. you don't need to install slide2lock. just need to have the ilock program which doesn't need installing.

Ummm I did. But thanks.
Pretty simple question actually. If you are installing/running an app, I just wanted to know how hard it was to undo.... is that out of the ordinary? No.
But thanks for the help.

Exactly. It really isn't that complicated.

So ilock has to be put in the startup folder? Or do you just run it once and that's it?

If it's already in your startup folder because you did the full install of slide2unlock, you just have to run it once more to get the confirmation dialog that it's closed. If not, run it twice.

i hate have to open and close the ilock software. So what i did is copy the ilock software and rename it. I have memmaid load up both files on startup so what happens is upon a soft reset i get a notification saying ilock and slide are closed. I tested and setup and alarm at 6:06 to ring at 6:08 and after i set it i performed a soft reset with the power plugged in and shut off the screen. A minute later the alarm rang and screen turned on with power still plugged in. Then i loaded up another alarm for 6:15 and shut off the screen and after some time the alarm rang again and screen turned on. So i guess if i have it load up on start twice i never have to worry about alarms until htc makes a patch. thank to original poster for this idea.
