Disabling the flashing LED is the benefit. If you like that green flashing LED then you don't need this.

I suppose that increased battery life is a possible benefit as well since that LED won't be draining the battery.

Great work Stroths! I like the LED myself... just want it to blink RED for alerts.... but nice find!

does this work even after you put your phone into sleep mode via the power button? I notice that when I wake the device back up, the green light starts flashing again.

This will keep the LED disabled if you have it setup in the Notification Queue (step 3). Otherwise, the LED will blink when coming out of sleep.

Cody has done some good work on the cab installer, which shouldn't be too much longer before its released. I am currently testing it.

Stroths -

My light stops flashing but about 5 minutes later it starts again. Once I pick my phone up and use it again, it makes the light stop. Any ideas on where I might have hosed the install?

Thanks!
K

I installed it, got some error messages on startup, uninstalled it, and now every time it turns on from sleep it gives me a "Cannot execute \Program FIles\LED KIller\LEDoff.mscr"

How do I get rid of this?

EDIT: I tried reinstalling it (I know, bad idea), and now I get two of the error message in a row. The thing is, the program seems to be working perfectly, as the blinking LED is, indeed, gone. But these error messages are annoying.

EDIT 2: Spoke too soon. The LED light came back after being in sleep for a couple of minutes.

i just uninstalled the old version (by deleting th SLO-Mo folder) and now every time i start up windows or put the device out of sleep, I get a Cannot execute \SLO-Mo\SLO-MoNotification.mscr error.

How do I get rid of this error? I also uninstalled MortScript and don't have anything in my /windows/startup folder.

@TurboFool

Refer to the 1st step of the uninstall instructions. You have to run the RemoveNotifiation.mscr to remove the notification before uninstalling the app. You can reinstall, run RemoveNotifiation.mscr and then uninstall to remove that message you are getting.
