There is definitely an issue. Start with 20 free and by the end fo the day- down to 12. memaid or anything else doesnt seem to be able to reclaim it.

I have noticed that

filesys.exe
gwes.exe
shell32exe
and even voice command balloon throughout the day.

They basically double in size. Why is the question...

I use SKTools and it reclaims alot. It is funny I can soft reset it then use SKTools and sometimes will get back over 2mb on the first try, there are 4 different ones to use and each one frees up a little more each time.

there is no doubt in my mind about a leak, I have soft reset my phone, gone to bed, and when I awake in the AM it'll be down to almost nothing.

And yes as stated in the original post, I have noticed slowdowns, even to the effect of the phone not ringing right away, then actually stuttering to get the ring out.

This phone is great, enjoy it alot more than my 700WX, but if I have to reset it every 12 hours in order to keep her happy, that hurts!

I find myself having to soft reset once or twice a day as well.. but honestly I have always done that anyway.... but clearly there is a leak there.

You can download a free ap called DirMap that is a file explorer that shows everything by size (directories too).
What does any of that have to do with RAM? The topic's not about lack of storage space, it's about system memory.
Whatever, just trying to make sure you weren't starting to rebuild the carb, only to realize later that the car was out of gas...

no reason for anyone to get testy.

as an update, I'm still experiencing the memory leak, does not seem to be quite as severe, but I still sit under 10mb after running for awhile without opening anything.

SOTI Pocket Controller has a task viewer that will show all system processes, the corresponding dll's in use, and how much memory each is consuming. It would take some time and analysis, but I think we could figure out if there is a leak through it.
