Device goes into Soft Reset Loop - Discuss Here - Page 2

yall aren't the only ones. I've seen this on mine with only 1 to 3 apps installed. 1. iPhone look alike package im working on. 2. Resco File explorer (newest) and 3. the Resco Reg add-on. Never thought about the minisd one may try and see if that's what my culprit is.

Had this happen to me the other day had to hard reset to get it to stop. My Mogul did come back after soft resetting its self a couple of times, but wouldn't load weather panel and today agenda, just the OEM's like Voice mail would show on the today screen. After about 5 soft resets with the same results I hard reset. I haven't had any problems since the hard reset, I have all the same programs loaded the only thing that is different is I let the extended rom run. I had skipped the extended rom load a couple of days earlier by soft resetting before it started, did anyone else having this problem do this.

I have this problem also, everytime I reboot, I need to pop out my 2gb micro sd card temporarily. After it finishes booting, push it back in. If I keep the 2gb card in, it keeps rebooting in a loop non stop.

Holy crap is this an annoying problem. Everything was running fine for me. Then I installed the following:

MemMaid 2.0
NCP_EntryCl_WinCE_233_006 (VPN Client)

I was previously running MemMaid 1.73 or something close to that. The only change I made in MemMaid was changing my Opera browser to store data on the mem card.

This isn't as bad as the BSOD on the 6700, but it sure is annoying.

Just for kicks I removed the 512MB card that I have all of my data on and inserted a new 2GB card and did a soft reset. My device came up great.

Thought I would throw that out there...

Once I copied my data from my 512MB card to my 2GB card I am back in a reset loop if I reset with my memory card in.

I have not had the reset loop problem again, could there be something in the extended ROM that keeps this from happening?

I don't think so. I had most of my problems when I first got the Mogul and let it load everything. I am starting to think that the Mogul is reading the card too early during boot up and causing the resets.
