This should be good. I hope it's got the antenna and a ROM update will enable real onboard GPS.

I believe the has GPS, because it states so in all the articles and documents coming directly from sprint, and else wise that would be false advertisement, resulting in a BIG class action lawsuit.. and they do have plans to release garmin and telenav for it if they havent allready. so with that said i believe there is GPS. Just my opinion tho.

Im willing to paypal some money to whoever can get something working for GPS on the phone. I know its not much help, but its the best i can do.

This isn't the first phone Sprint advertised as GPS enabled that ended up having AGPS rather than full GPS. I hope this one actually has full GPS, but I won't be too disappointed if it doesn't as I bought it for all the other features. I'll keep my fingers crossed though.

Telenav requires and active data connection. No signal = no maps.

I called telenav last week and they said they're working on it and it should be out "soon"

Telenav is a service you must pay for and it uses AGPS, which uses the towers to determine your location. Full GPS allows you to use the software of your choice on your phone (TomTom, MioMaps, iGo, etc) without a monthly fee and it relies on GPS satellites to get your position.

Yeah after really looking at those pictures, i dont see why they would put the cell phone antenna at the bottom of the phone, it wouldnt make sense unless you speak with your phone upside down lol

but the thing that is getting me confizzled is that, in the first post its a lot bigger then what we see here, well atleast a lot longer.
