WiFi wont shut off

Its the most annoying thing in the world. The problem stems from getting the phone wet. I was cleaning my wife's car for her and she had left a cup in her cup holder which leaked down into the bottom of it. Well, I placed my phone in said cup holder not realizing there was soda in the bottom because she removed the cup but didn't clean the liquid. Well anyway, the phone acted crazy for a few days but eventually came back up but then the wifi wouldn't go off. Eventually it did however, until one day it just came back on and wont go off again. Does anyone know a way to fix this? I would get it replaced but I don't have insurance on my phone anymore because I had another issue with caller id and the sprint reps recommended that I return the phone and get another but then I found that it was actually sprints fault. My insurance was ended then until the next year however.
