wmp problem

hiya all im having a problem with my windows media player on my htc mogul with a stock 6.1 rom i usually use orb to stream music to my ppc with no problem i decieded to add a few mp3s to the sd card and now when it plays a track after exactly 30 sec it switches songs i looked at the settings and theres nothing to adjust any ideas why its doing this? thanks =D
