Rev A will be enabled down the road - GPS - only through telenav - there is no upgrade to make it go from a half baked GPS to a full GPS. This was by request so Sprint and Verizon could try and get more money from you.

GPS with Google Maps and external Bluetooth receiver
I have an external GPS receiver - actually the telenav unit. I used it with my 700p.
I connected it to my 6800 and set the com ports so that google maps and the bluetooth settings for the receiver were using the same com port. I was able to connect and see where I was in real time using Google Maps. This will work fine but I sure miss the voice prompts from telenav. I just hate paying for something that I hardly ever use. Sprint is going to charge you $2 something a day to use the option. I plan on using it for an upcoming 4 day vacation in October.(hopefully it releases by then) I hardly need it as well, so this is a good option for me. Also, you don't have to renew your contract to add the $10/month plan.
