@mpancari: This is NOT free, unless you have unlimited PicMail on your acount.

Also, when you download the CAB to your device, just execute it as if it were an installer, click or double click on it and it will install it. Make sure Pocket Outlook is not running too.

It does not send text messages, you already send SMS through Pocket Outlook. This is an add-on that will allow you to send images and videos as MMS instead of e-mail.

If you have unlimited PicMail and Text messages you have nothing to worry about, however, check your plan because as far as I know the $15 PV Access Pack/Plan does not have unlimited MMS and SMS (unless you got that added on somehow else).

does sprint have any plans to give the phone REAL power vision capability? maybe with the rev A update.

a FAR phone will allow up to send pictures and receive them without first being redirected to the web browser.. receving picture on FAR phone? 1 second.... receving a picture on a 600$ phone.. 2 minutes.

Also no sprint TV.. none of the good stuff..

a different data plan will not give you faster data access. you could have no data plan and as long as your phone said EV at the top you will get EVDO speeds, but you will pay $0.03/kb for it. very expensive.

a number of things could be hindering your speeds.
1. network issues
2. your not in evdo coverage area.

this phone will not do evdo rev a until they release the patch for it later this year. the pic mail capability is not built into this phone so your pretty much hacking the phone to make it capable. you may experience some tech difficulties but im just happy it works. no windows mobile phone from sprint/verizon/whoever will do pic mail out of the box.

they will also not do sprint tv or download ringtones/screensavers. if thats what your looking for in a $600 phone there is always the treos with the palm os on them.

i for one have no issue recieving a pic mail in a split second

hope this helps a little

So you can receive your pic mail NATIVELY? Without opening up IE? I didn't think this was possible with the mogul.
