Path: hklm\software\htc\camera\common\sourceof snapsound.

it directs to snap.wav in the windows folder

with the trayicons.cab, is there a way to enable it, so when you click on the battery icon it shows the amount of power left (like it did with the regular htc home screen one), The comm manager and screen rotate icons work, but when I click the battery one, it doesn't do anything..

I did the reg edit to assign the soft buttons to what I want. Then I installed SPB Shell, which did it for me.

So, here is what I want to do.....When the phone is open I want to assign the right side Contacts to either ContactBreeze or SBP Contacts. Does anyone know how to do this?

My soft buttons stay the same whether the phone is open or closed. Are you wanting them to be different?

BitPool = 30 (0x00001e)
MaxSupportedBitPool = 30 (0x00001e)

Those are the numbers on an unmodified, non-patched phone.

so i did the Unlock Phone (certificate security disabled) registry tweak on the first page, but after installing the new ROM i still get errors.

The file 'FILENAME' cannot be opened. Either it is not signed with a trusted certificate, or one of its components cannot be found. If the problem persists, try reinstalling or restoring this file.

ive tried reinstalling with no luck. wassup?

Yes when I open the phone my soft buttons change. Contacts moves to the rigth and instead of going to SPB Contacts like I have the normal Contact soft button set up for, the soft button goes to PI Contacts instead.....which is heck of lot harder to use while driving.

I want to find where the soft buttons are set in the reg for the phone app.

(of course, I know I am asking when I know full well that I haven't even had a chance to spend any significant time to find it myself yet)

You see it in the bubble that is displayed when you tap the Vision icon.

Click HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE
Click ControlPanel
Click Phone
[at this point, the buttom grey status bar should read \HKLM\ControlPanel\Phone'
Click the bottom menu 'edit'
Select new dword value

Change the value name to "Flags2" (no quotes).
Select the 'hexidecimal' button.
Type 10
Click ok.
You should now see in the 'name/data' section:

Flags2 16 (0x00010)

When done, reset the device.
