I forgot how to change the service provider name... Refresh my memory?

a friend of mine did it with cdma workshop. it stays permanently even after hard resets it never goes back to sprint

If you search for schaps advance config over at XDA, there is an option to change the operator name in the program...

hey man, if you want to get that quickmenu background to be black instead of white on dcd's rom, i found that changing the today screen theme to the green one then back to the normal one sets the background right. it gets rid of the sprint symbol in the lower-right (replaced w/ black HTC), but it makes quickmenu look better in my opinion. i found that if you choose the light blue theme, then your contacts and IE and stuff look light blue even after you change back to default.
