HTC 6800-Contacts/Calendar Software-problems Continue

I am continuing to get"The file "PITab"cannot be opened.... message when opening contacts/calendar, etc. I did follow advice given here and installed PocketCM. Only way it will work is to access it via File Explorer. I would greatly appreciate any insights/suggestions.
