movies

Does anyone here use dvdfab? I went to put a movie on my phone and chose the pocket pc for my phone and it converted it to a .avi which gave me an error when I went to play it back on my phone. I tried to make it an mp4 but was very choppy. has anyone came up with a better way. Thanks in advance!!

Re: movies

You have to edit the conversion settings for ipd/iphone mp4 to fixed bitrate of 350 and a resolution closer to that of your device.. Usually something like 360x177 or something like that. if you crop it, make it 320x240 like your screen. Also, use TCPMP.

Search for the "DVDFab Pro Portable" download. Fast, easy and no installation. Works like a charm.

Re: movies

Yeah, the codecs involved and bitrate as well as resolution all come into play on these things. It is choppy because it is more that what the device can handle and so getting everything just right is the key. There are MANY converters out there for iPods and 'like" devices such as ours.

I select the Zune setup and it does convert to wmv, unless that is only in the Platinum version.
