Re: Email button broke, Sprint won't replace in-store

Not only should it be covered under wear and tear, but it is potentially a manufacturing defect. You might want to "remind" the morons at that store about Sprint's supposed new focus on "customer service".

Re: Email button broke, Sprint won't replace in-store

I've had my TEP replacement for 3 months and it was a refurb replacement. I have the white spots, message button fell off, the Dpad center button doesn't work, the wifi has never worked. I emailed Sprint and complained, they said if I brought it in and paid for all the repairs, that they would re-imburse me on my account.

For what it would cost to replace it I could get a new non-refurb phone.

Thanks again for your help!
No problem man, glad I can help.

1. If the resolution involves swapping out the unit, yes. Any type of physical damage has to be caught by the rep or they risk getting a charge back.

2. Anything that you cause to the phone except missing, cracked, smashed things. Say if you came in and the button wasn't working but was still attached it would be covered. I disagree with the stance on this because some situations such as yours should absolutely be covered.

My advice, have Sprint credit you back.
