Just to clarify, when I ask if I will have an issue, I want to know if sprint will know I am tethering.Thanks.

No, Sprint will not know if you are using WMWifiRouter or, optionally, the Mogul plugged into a Cradlepoint CTR-350 router (which is also a cool little device). I've been tethering for a year, not a peep from Sprint.

I am not using neither. I only enabled internet sharing on my Diamond and plugged it into the USB port on my Laptop. I have been getting a good, uninterrupted connetion this way.
I thought as long as I am able to connect this way, that I would not have to purchase PdaNET or the router program. If it is advantageous for me to purchase either of these two items, I will.
What is your advise?

I checked my data usage on sprint.com and it says I have used 3.5gb so far. I assume that is for this billing period. But when I check the Data Life Usage on on Diamond via ##786#,it tells me I have used only 1.5gb and that is during a period of about 3 months. I have tethered my Diamond to my laptop via usb cable during the past 3 weeks or so. I use Internet Sharing with the original ROM. I am slightly confused regarding the Data Usage discrepancy. Does anyone know what my Data Usage numbers mean?Btw,The ##786# is giving me the Transmit and Receive figures.
