Encountering Other Titan Users

How many of you have encountered somebody either on the street, at work, or anywhere else that is also using a PPC6800 in any of its forms?

After using this phone since last June, I have seen two other people with them: my dad who bought the phone at the same time i did, and a guy today I saw had a VX6800.

Other than my friends, nobody out in public. Funny thing is I look at all cellphones people carry. I can tell what kind of person they by what they have.

I do this too..I don't know why I care, but I always look to see what phone people are carrying.

I work for Sprint, so I see them all the time, however, I've have never seen one "in the wild"...(public)

Side note: Everytime I see a customer w/one, a part of me is hoping they are also one with their geekiness so we can talk, but it's usually because they are running low on critical memory and don't know why...what a let down.

I see them all over when I am out and about. I guess living close to Microsoft campus will do that.

Seeing them in the store is one thing, having to troubleshoot with a Microsoft employee that works in the CE department... that is another.

maybe not the titan but i see the 6700 quite a bit...several times when i pulled mines out it's caused small talk amongst other ppc users or aspirers

i was on it today matter a fact and someone said "i just got that phone"...made me feel good

I see the Wing more often than the Titan and they are always amazed that my phone is gray. If they only knew what I had under the hood lol.

Yeah, a killer phone with too little RAM.


There is someone at my job with the same phone, its only the second time i've seen someone else with one.

You know I just picked up a touch yesterday for the first time and my jaw droped when I saw the free ram... with that being said I played with it for about a half hour and after all my tweaks the touch is much slower in comparison. So don't let the numbers fool you my son. Everything that glitters doesnt translate into speed.

Well, I bought the Touch for my girl and its about as fast as mine, except it has alot more free ram and doesnt hit the ceiling like the Mogul does when running multiple applications. Granted I dont like the Touch, the screen is wierd and it lacks the keyboard. The Mogul is an awesome phone but its lack of memory disturbs me.

I just flashed my co-workers phone to the new rom as he had no idea it even existed.....
