caller id problem
 

hi all ive been having a problem with my caller id i tried calling up sprint just got hung up on by tech support... this might sound stupid lol but when i get a call the number shows up like ex.8(605)55-5555 when it should look like(860)555-5555 any ideas? btw it only shows up like this when the phone is ringing.it displays normally everywhere else. Thanks in advance :D

Wow, that is strange, and a first for me! lol. have you tried using any other program that has caller id? if not, lets try this, head over to http://www.ac-s2.com/ and download S2U2, its an iPhone like lock program, but it also has a great caller id with either fullscreen or thumbnail pics, slide to answer, slide to reject and lots more. there's info on his site and over at xda. oh and you can really customize it. but lets start simple. install it and have someone call you and see how it displays.

and with s2u2 you may also like s2v for changing wallpaper on s2u2. and s2p for playing music and displays on s2u2 when playing with phone locked. all three together work well.
