fn key light toggle?

On the Tilt, when you press the fn key once, the fn light comes on until you press a key, then it goes off when the function effect goes off. With my PPC6800, the fn light only comes on when you press the fn key twice and the function is locked on. So if you are entering a password with one number, you never know for sure that the fn is really on unless you press the fn twice, then press it again.

Is there a way to change the fn light behavior?

If this is already discussed some where, I haven't found it.
