When I was using WM 6.0 I used SMS-chat by Vito software for threaded texting (it is an awesome program, so I still use it in WM6.1 although it is not absolutely necessary) & Wisbar 3 gave me the option of "X" actually closing a program instead of minimizing it.

do u know where i can get these or have a link to them? that would rock. thanks so much. Just got off phone with US Cellular and no WN6.1 updates :( so im out of luck there so going to have to use aftermarket stuff :)

For a task mananger that closes programs out try wkTask.

Really nice. Allows for skinning of the ok/close tabs. Also has an option to show the battery meter as a bar across the top of the screen. Again like said before about another task manager make sure the option to close programs by tapping "x" is turned on.
