Memory card size limit verizon xv6800

Can anybody tell me if and to what the windows 6.1 upgrade did to the capacity limits of the 6800? I know it used to hold 4gb but heard that it increased but I cannot get a straight answer to how much if at all?

you may need the sdhc driver cab but mine has an 8gb they just released 16gb in the uk and it will take that and when 32gb gets released it will take that too

When my verizon XV6800 was new, it would only recognize 1/2 of an 8 gig card.

Installing the SDHC driver fixed that. When I flashed to dcd's 3.2.6 ROM, it recognized the full card with no further mods.

will the US Cellular HTC PPC6800 with Windows Mobile 6 Pro. read 8gig SDHD? the box/book says only expandable to 4Gig?
Will that drive u suggest here work on my phone? do i even need it?

try it & see. If it only recognizes 1/2 of the 8 gigs then install the SDHC driver.

Just install the driver. It can go up to 32GB.
