Re: Wmwifirouter drains battery to shut off even when plugged in?
from what i'm reading online....it says that the wmwifirouter is a power hog....so maybe it just can't keep up with the program as it uses both wifi and EVDO at the same time :/

Re: Wmwifirouter drains battery to shut off even when plugged in?
Also, I have an aftermarket wall charger that puts out more like a car charger, not nearly as good as the factory wall charger

Re: Wmwifirouter drains battery to shut off even when plugged in?
The battery drain was a deal breaker for me... makes the wifi connection useless when I can just use USB.

Re: Wmwifirouter drains battery to shut off even when plugged in?
A. you need to move up to the 3500mha battery
B .You are putting it into low power mode? I had this same problem while on the road until I bought the Boxwave hi amp charger. No problems since. Another plus for mine is that I bought a amplifier as my area does not have a strong signal. This keeps the unit from searching and trying to maintain a connection. |
