Can't answer calls while data is in use
Hey guys, I've had this problem for a while, and never really found a solution. Its starting to get kind of annoying. Whenever I am streaming media, using an instant messenger, or anything else that uses a constant data connecton, I can't answer my phone calls. The phone rings, but when I hit answer... it freezes. The data icon stays active. After a while (about the duration that my phone would normally ring before it gets to voicemail) the phone will say I missed a call, hang up my data, and I have to call them back. By this time, they are leaving me a voicemail, and I'm calling them back in the middle of it. Its almost like whatever software is running with the data connection doesn't want to give it up. Perhaps as soon as it is interrupted, it immediatley tries to re-dial and connect before it gets a chance to answer the phone line. It happens way to much, and its starting to annoy everyone that calls me. Friends, Co-workers, and especially my wife. Is there any kind of solution to this? I would think it would be easy to tell the phone... "when you get a phone call, hang up the data first!"

Re: Can't answer calls while data is in use
I had this similar issue but it happened once active sync connected to my exchange server. Have you done the reg hacks for PAM and/or disable the Phone As Modem connection? I found out by not doing those two things fixed my problem.

Bump... I'm still having this issue. It seems to be getting worse in the last two days. Anyone else having this same problem?

So you did a hard reset, didn't do the PAM reg tweaks, and left the phone as modem connection enabled with this issue still occurring?
