Confused on how to flash new Official Sprint ROM
 

Hello... I got my mogul 6800 over a year now. I flashed it with an unlocker I believe. I can't remember, but I do remember 3 colors when I was flashing then flashed a test rom with GPS. Here are the specs.

ROM version 3.16.651
RoM date 12/5/07
Radio Version 3.27.00

Now I want to know how I should go about flashing new rom from HTC? First, how do I know if I used the unlocker, how can i check if i used it? also if I did use a unlocker do i need to use relocker before I flash new rom? Plus is there any reason to use Opris 1.40 or 2.40 to use a custom rom rather than the official one? please advise steps or tutorials please... thanks

Anyone know how to check if I used an unlocker? or how to do flash the official sprint rom? I don't think im going to do a custom rom.

Did you try to run the un-locker? If so hold simultaneously......power,camera, and soft reset....it will put you into BL....at the top of the tri-color screen it will say what version of SPL you have.....give me the number and I can tell you if you un-locked.....

To flash stock just go to HTC website and click on support....you are looking for version 3.56.....they are exe. so just follow the directions on the site and then on the PPC screen.....

Put the phone in bootloader. Power, camera reset at the same time. Should go to the multi colored screen. Post the numbers that you see on there.

That is because I am trying to catch you on posts.....LOL.....JK....I am just locked to the couch right now....as soon as I see my doc.....hope he gives me good news as to when I can walk again....but I know I am at least 2 weeks away...so I will probably hit 1000 soon....then when I go back to work....it will go back down to 1 or 2 posts a day....LOL

Hate to hear you are couch bound. I spent 7 wks laying around from a car wreck on April 29th. Not fully recovered yet. Been 3 months and I am still not back to work full duty. Tuff being on the wrong side of the wreck. I have spent the last 15 years dragging people out of wrecks. A little different on the other side. That's why I had time to do the tutorial lol.
