Do i need to change my rom/radio???

I have my mogul running olipro 2.40 and dcd's 3.2.5

dcd says http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=413039

u need a carrier cab. do i need it tho? i've only gone from gps stock to dcd???

also, b4 i started getting into custom roms, ppl sed that i'd have to set my phone baq up to work wit sprint again. i never have had to. all i do is flash and use.
