skype on mogul 6800

On the skype mobile beta website, it does not list the mogul or htc phones. Is there any way possible to get it on my mogul?

It worked with WM 6.0, but ever since the 6.1 release it doesn't work, and I don't know of any fix for it yet. I would like to find out myself, I used skype everyday for work.

arparent, have you tried the older skype version?

I'd love to have skype on my Mogul.

no known fix for 6.1, for 6.0 you have to look for skype beta 2.2.....look around and you can find it

I used skype 2.2 with the Windows Mobile 6.0 Rom. I tried the earlier version, but it didn't work with 6.1 either.

thanks its running great on my mogul. and just wondering.... does this skype offer video chatting like the desktop version does? thanks for your time...

2.2 always worked, no video chatting man.

Well, I used Skype on the PPC6700 without any problems but it will not do any voice calls on my Mogul. I can hear the typical Skype sound before it connects and as soon I'm connected nothing but silence. Timer keeps running until I hang up or the call drops. Any Ideas?

although this is a bit off topic and not exactly the answer you would like, but I think there is a functional skype messenger program. I haven;t tried to make calls with it yet so I can't confirm whether it works or not, but I would try the free mobile app Fringo. It allows me to chat with my skype buddies successfully, maybe the calling works as well.

I should test that sometime...
