Re: US Cellular - No Data
Did you check the setting in Start > Settings > Connection tab > Connections > Manage existing connections > Modem tab? Check that out and make sure all is as should be remembering that the User Name is you 10 digit ph# with uscc.net (##########.uscc.net) and the pasword is just your 10 digit ph#

Re: US Cellular - No Data
This information was not entered.
I entered it, but I still get a message "Cannot connect. Please check your username, password, or other credentials and try again." Any other ideas? FYI, they changed my msid. I changed this and noticed that my security settings reverted back to msid @ 3gc.com Should this be msid @ uscc.net or phone number @ uscc.net and I assume the password is my 10 digit phone number. Re: US Cellular - No Data
OK, I figured out the problem.
you need to use your msid for username and password within the EPST security settings. there is no need to put your username and password settings in the connection area since it uses the EPST security settings. |

Re: US Cellular - No Data
Its ok...... I was furious with my phone when I was trying to get the EVDO to work......(it survived a tossing)
Any way In EPST there or ##778 there is View and Edit. You need to chose Edit. In the security it should be 000000 (six zero's) unless *228 was dialed and updated the phone. And from there you need to view info. There you will see the Security Settings. If the six zero's don't work you should be able to sweet talk a USCC rep into coughing up the EPST code.
