I think you're missing the point...he has tried to save to the card but the images are corrupt...which indicates that the card itself is corrupt somewhere...could be the specific folder he's trying to save to. what i suggest is if you have a card reader on your pc or laptop copy everything off of the card to the pc...format the card and put back everything but the folder in which your pics are going to...the camera will then look for a new directory to save the pics...or if you have a reg editor you can go in manually to the hkml/software/htc/camera and change the default directory in there to see if the image gets saved properly

ready for this? i have already done what you you wanted didn't work. figured id try one more time, switched to mem. card instead of device storage( from camera itself) now pictures did show but soon as i looked at other pics that were from days ago and went to new pics(on mem. card) they were gone, no signes of them. good one right! im speechlesss on this.

my st went in before i read yours, ill try your advice. i also have pice of junk called a samsung instinct lying around( not active) with memory card in it maybe ill try that card for a few pictures to se if its the card.

is it ok to turn off phone and switch memory cards? don't want to lose any music or homescren or tcmp, anything. card is from instinct different formats.

yeah thats fine...just dont let the instinct format the card or create folders to it otherwise you will lose everything...this is why i suggest backing up card contents to pc first

im only going to put instinct card in touch, take a few pictures se if they turn out on memory card. touch card isn't going anywhere. again that's ok??? im also going to use laptop when my girl gets home. also thankyou for taking time to explain things in simple terms to me. mad props to all on this site. its very good for newbies and veterns. pass that on to all.
