Wifi connects, no programs will use it.

Please tell me there is a fix for this!!!

I can connect to my wifi at home no problem, but whenever I start a program that needs a network connection, it fires up my cellular data connection.

Doesn't seem to matter what wifi network I'm connected to, I can't get ANY programs to use it.

Any help at all would be greatly appreciated.
