$ symbol?
I was wondering if there was a way to change the function of a button/letter on the qwerty keyboard to accommodate the $ symbol? I was a previous Apache/6700 user and I tend to use that symbol a lot. I understand I can use the pop keyboard to get the symbol but I was just wondering if I could somehow change a symbol/function of an existing key on the qwerty to do it? Thanks.

No one uses the $ symbol?

Re: $ symbol?
I do! I've also tried every possible combination using the hard keyboard's symbol making feature, and nadda. Unless I'm missing a key combo, I'm finding it impossible without the on-screen keyboard.

This drives me crazy too. They should have put the $ sign in place of the %.

Re: $ symbol?
I think it's commonly used in the US only. But since HTC manufactures for different countries as well then it would only make sense they do not assign it a button to cut productions costs down.
