Have I lost my sense of humor and can't see a joke? Does this key combo really work for anyone? If so, spell this out for me again because fn key, Sym Tab key, up 1 isn't registering. Arrow up, then 1? Up one time? Hold down Sym Tab or single press? :D |

Another way would be to use magikb lite and modify the keyboard map and put the $ wherever you want it. |
Re: $ symbol?
Fn key followed by the Sym/Tab key, arrow up one time then press the enter key. That sequence gets you to the $ symbol when typing on your PPC (Mogul).

Re: $ symbol?
Not on mine. Fn, then Sym then after a 3 second delay the regular keyboard comes on screen. Then pressing up 1 time closes it again.
No symbol keyboard comes up on screen at any point unless I hit the "123" at the top right of the on screen keyboard with my stylus. Maybe that's why I thought someone was trying to be funny. Guess the jokes on me afterall! :D |
You're right, for XV6800 users, it would be up arrow 3 times then right arrow once then enter. Your 123 key on the onscreen keyboard is on the right hand side of the keyboard?
