Ok, as many people know, for those of us with Harmony remotes (or universal remotes in general), it is not possible currently (without modifications) to control the PS3 without using the controller for the system. Several options have been released recently, including IR2BT (
www.ir2bt.com) and the PS3 Tooth Fairy (
www.ps3toothfairy.com), among a few others. These devices take the IR signal from the remote, convert it to bluetooth, and send it to the PS3. It got me to thinking, well, the Titan has an IR port, AND it has bluetooth. Now, I realize the IR port isn't very strong, but for those of us with the Logitech RF extender (in which the IR signal can be placed to be transmitted directly in front of the device), couldn't our Titan, assuming it isn't in standby mode, technically work as a converter to use our Harmony remote to control the PS3. Now, I also realize that the device would need to be in Logitech's database and there would need to be some sort of software for the Titan, but I guess my real question, for those that know more about the technicalities of the Titan, is this: could this work as a solution and how difficult would it be to implement?
