Ppst...

Ok, I have searched for a few hours, and I would like to know...what does this ppst file do? I installed the new official rom and stop it before the sprint customization, but I can't seem to find this file anywhere on my device. I have sent and received phone calls and text messages as well as used data. Thanks for any help you can provide.
