Java Gmail App No login button

I installed the java gmail app on my mogul and when I start it up I can only get to the login screen and input my user name and password But theres no log in button theres only two textboxes and the gmail logo.

I already have it set up in my outlook but I want to use the java app instead.

Any help would be much aprreciated.

Yep. Happens to everyone. Either find Gmail 1.1 or get a different JVM.

You can use those buttons if you swipe your stylus downward around that area, but it's a PITA and you can't do it with your finger.

Re: Java Gmail App No login button

I just started having this problem after upgrading to the 6.1 rom. Happens with both gmail and gmail for domains.

Is 1.1 an older version or newer? How can i find out which version i have?

Or should i look for another JVM? any one in particular recommended?

I just like the way it works - it seems more responsive then the web version. It also seemed easier to navigate - less scrolling around to find what i was looking for etc. Although i admit i haven't tried using IMAP.

I also have to admit I'm just one of those people who gets annoyed that something was working before and isn't working now

It's not because you upgraded your ROM. It's that when you went to redownload the Gmail app, their site directed you to the new 1.5 version.

Older. If you have no login button, you're using 1.5.

You could. TMZ's link is pretty nice. Or you could just find 1.1 again if you were comfortable with that. Google can bring something up.
