wifi help!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

hey man can you tell me how i can connect to wifi with my mogul cause i dont know what im doing wrong i switch the side wifi button on and then go to settings/connections/wifi and i connect to one of the available wifi connections i have 16 wifi connections listed and it wont connect to none of them what do i have to do and do i need a network key can some one please explain this to me
