Activesync issues

Ok so I know there are posts all over this site about Activesync not working and have searched them and none of them helped so far. I have a Mogul. It wont detect my phone. It wont connect if i try to use the cord or go through bluetooth. I have hard reset my phone. I have unchecked the box. I dont know what else I can do. The phone was a refurb cuz my last ones screen cracked. Any suggestions please??? My guess is I am going to have to take it in to Sprint for a new one.

Re: Activesync issues

My Sprint Touch started having problems with Activesync today. I, too, have tried the posted solutions, but nothing seems to work.

I disabled "Enable advanced network functionality"
I uninstalled and reinstalled Activesync

I tried all of the solutions posted here, but nothing works. http://forum.ppcgeeks.com/archive/index.php/t-8336.html

Re: Activesync issues

I think it's a manufacturer fault. There seem to be many people with the problem, but they can't seem to fix it with the posted solutions.

Re: Activesync issues

I had an issue with ActiveSync recently whereby it always crashed whether or not the Mogul was connected. Turns out that it did not like the Office 2007 demo and some update that was implemented. Reverted back to Office 2003, and all is well.

Re: Activesync issues

It's not a problem unique to the Mogul or other HTC devices. I have a 700WX and have had these problems since day one (eight months ago) . My only difference is that I'm using WMDC, as my laptop is running Vista.

Re: Activesync issues

I had someone come in today who had that problem, I had him unistall activesync from his laptop, then put the disc in an re-install it. That worked

I found a solution to my problem. Two days ago, I installed a program. This program seems to conflict with Activesync due to the fact that when I connect my Sprint Touch to the computer via USB, the program (along with Activesync) is trying to connect to my computer.

I uninstalled the program and Activesync is working once again. Originally, I thought that the program was the culprit. Instead of uninstalling the program, I went into Windows Task Manager and ended each process associated with the program. Activesyc still wouldn't connect. Only when I uninstalled the program would Activesync work.
