PIE and Java?

Just curious if there is any hacks out that work with Pie to allow Java im trying to make my own home page and one of the applets i added on there i find quite useful but cant use it unless i run opera mobile and i hate waiting the 15secods of loading/splash screen i get when trying to run that and its slow to zoom and render the text not sure if this is the version i have? (its the one off the new diamond apparently)

any help is appreciated and yes i searched.. i went through several threads with no luck
