Re: Questions About My New Mogul
The screen does have a slight concave, and with a plastic piece over the screen (which is a part of the touch screen assembly), when you tap it with your stylus, you will notice it indent. That's normal. As for the little red dots, I'm honestly not too sure. Hope this has cleared some of your concerns!

Re: Questions About My New Mogul
Screen smear is common with LCD without hard protective surface. If you press hard enough, the screen color will get distorted on any LCD screen. Consider yourself lucky, cause it get worse won the Samsung i760 even with a slight touch.

Re: Questions About My New Mogul
Well the red dots that appear are for the onsceen menu. When you press and hold the stylus on the screen there will be a ring of dots that start to appear and once the make complete ring you pull the stylus off the screen and an onscreen options menu opens.

Re: Questions About My New Mogul
yeah, as long as everything is functioning properly, those problems arent anything to worry about. Just remember, you do have 30 days to exchange it, so if you feel the quality of the one you have is not the greatest, it might be a good idea to swap it out while you still can. also, dont forget to get insurance on your ppc!

Re: Questions About My New Mogul
*I guess since it's not affecting the phones functions and nothing seems to be too out of the ordinary except for it needing some soft resets when using Opera mini 4.1.. it seems like its a standard mogul. Thanks for all the tips

Re: Questions About My New Mogul
I had the same problems with Opera Mini 4.1, so I ditched that and started using a build of Opera Mobile 9.5. It works good except it is a little slow at times but I totally prefer it over mini.
