also try reinstalling the latest version of opera mini. remove it, soft reset the ppc, then install new opera mini and soft reset again and then try it. hope this helps. it worked for me when i had same issue. im posting this message on my ppc with opera mini

actually it didnt help! it still keeps freezing! soft reset is my new friend!
